Dr. David Kowal of The Eye Care Group is originally from Binghamton, New York.
He did his undergraduate work at Wake Forest University and received his
Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.
Following graduation, Dr. Kowal completed a hospital-based
residency at the Brooklyn Veteran's Administration Medical Center in New York City then joined the optometric staff at the renowned Bascom Palmer
Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. He practiced in Florida from 1987-2000 and has been practicing in Lexington and in High Point since 2000. He is
a member of the America Optometric Association, the North Carolina State Optometric Society and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Becky Call York of The Eye Care Group is originally from Mocksville, NC.
She did her undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and
received her optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.
She has been practicing in Lexington and in High Point
since 2010. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the North Carolina State Optometric Society.

Dr. David Daughtry, Jr. of The Eye Care Group is a native of North Carolina and was raised in Garner.
While stationed with the U.S. Navy on the west coast, he finished his undergraduate work at San Diego State University.
He received his doctorate from Southern College of Optometry and interned with the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Memphis, TN.
After returning to North Carolina in 2010, Dr. Daughtry practiced in Thomasville and Randleman before joining The Eye Care Group.
His focus is in primary health care of the eyes, contact lens fittings, management of ocular disease and treatment of injuries.
Dr. Daughtry is a member of the American Optometric Association, North Carolina State Optometric Society and Winston Salem Optometric Society.

Dr. Andrew Simpson of The EyeCare Group is a native of Wallburg, NC. He earned his BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and received his Doctor of
Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2013. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the North Carolina State Optometric Society
and the Triad Optometric Society. Dr. Simpson’s clinical interests include primary eye care and contact lenses, glaucoma, and management of ocular disease and injury. Dr. Simpson
is also trained in the fitting of specialty contact lenses for post-surgical and irregular corneas.
